How To Be A GrabCar Driver In Malaysia (Updated 2022)

Due to COVID19 pandemic,Grab has taken the initiative to process all new driver registration online. Now you can register Grab Driver for entire Malaysia without having to visit to any Grab GDC nor Grab Kiosk. With the current [Skip-The-Line] and online verification process, you can register directly via the form below and our registration admins will assist you throughout your Grab Driver registration process.

30th September 2019 onwards, under the Act of Ministry Of Transportation, all registered Grab Drivers are required to have PSV license. However, for new drivers without PSV license, our admin will send guidelines on how to obtain PSV license after the registration form below is submitted.

Follow the instructions below to register Grab Driver and our registration admins will assist you on your Grab Driver registration and EVP(E-Hailing Vehicle Permit) application process.

  8. Kelantan

Grab Driver Registration is FREE. Admin will not request any payment from new drivers. All payments related to PSV License, Puspakom inspection should be made via the frontdesk of their respective branches. RM20 Grab Credit for will be credited to first time registered drivers upon account activation.

Registration admins will guide you on government regulation matters such as PSV License, PUSPAKOM, EVP(E-Hailing Vehicle Permit) once they have received and processed your application via the Registration Form below.

WhatsApp Support Group will also be provided for drivers interaction, available in all languages (BM, English, Mandarin) including women specific driver group too.(By request upon activation).

Grab Driver Requirements:
  1. Car Manufacture year 2013 and above.
  2. Malaysian Citizen(MyKad Only) aged 21-years old and above.
  3. Blue MyKad holder only (MyTentera and MyPR are NOT accepted)
  4. Driving License D/DA (P License NOT accepted)
  5. IOS/Android Smartphone.

Document Requirements:
(Refer Registration Form on how to capture required documents accurately)
  1. Profile Photo
    • It will be used as a Display Photo for your Grab Driver App. To ensure passengers able to recognise drivers easily. Strictly no cap/hat nor sunglasses in profile photo.
  2. IC Photo (Front)
    • Take a photo of your IC. Scanned/Photostate NOT accepted. Ensure there's no flash on the details of the IC. Watermark at the corner of your MyKad is advisable.
  3. Car Insurance Covernote 
    • Take a photo of your car insurance covernote.
    • Makesure your name is inside the insurance covernote Driver List. 
    • Covernote required is the page contains full details of the car e.g. chassis number, engine number, policy pricing.
  4. JPJ Grant Photo
    • Original copy of your JPJ Grant is required.
    • Request from loaner bank / reprint at JPJ branches if necessary.
